About Me

My story as a software engineer started way earlier than I might have anticipated. It began back when Minecraft was trending in my primary school. We started playing via Hamachi when LAN gameplay was released as an update. To get a better experience, I learned more about game servers, FTP, and other things I could comprehend at the time. Since then, my interest in servers hasn’t faded, and that’s what I do professionally today.

My interest in homelabbing landed me my first job at PSNC, since Proxmox VE is based on the same component as OpenStack - KVM. These days I self-host most of the things I need.

In my free time, I like building things - I do woodworking and DIY IoT. My sport of choice is swimming, but I’d love to get back to mountain biking once my injury heals. I love spending time with my friends, but when that’s not possible, I either build something or game - recently Cities: Skylines II or Roadcraft.
